Namespace: Microsoft.Web.Services3.Security
Assembly: Microsoft.Web.Services3 (in microsoft.web.services3.dll)

Usage

'Usage
Dim soapVersion As Soap
Dim returnValue As String
Dim receiveSecurityFilter1 As ReceiveSecurityFilter
returnValue = receiveSecurityFilter1.GetLocalActor(soapVersion)

Syntax

'Declaration
Public Overridable Function GetLocalActor( _
    ByVal soapVersion As Soap _
) As String
public virtual string GetLocalActor(
    Soap soapVersion
);
public:
virtual String^ GetLocalActor(
    Soap^ soapVersion
);
public virtual System.String GetLocalActor(
    Soap soapVersion
);
public function GetLocalActor(
     soapVersion : Soap
) : String;

Parameters

  • soapVersion
    A Soap that represents the version of the SOAP protocol that is being used.

Return Value

The SOAP actor that is in the Security SOAP header.

Remarks

When the received SOAP message is being filtered by a client, then the GetLocalActor method gets the value of the ClientActor property for policy assertions; otherwise it is the value of the ServiceActor property. The IsClient parameter to the ReceiveSecurityFilter constructor determines whether the SOAP message is received by a client or a Web service.
