DirectX Media Objects (DMOs)

A DirectX Media Object (DMO) is a COM object that implements the IMediaObject interface from the Microsoft DirectShow SDK. A DMO is a data transform object that can be used as part of a DirectShow filter graph.

All of the Windows Media Audio and Video codec and DSP objects implement IMediaObject.

For more information about the IMediaObject interface, see the DirectX Media Objects section of the DirectShow SDK documentation.
