AddRefToGroupComponent Method

Adds a reference to a global resource so that a site can access that resource.

Parameters

  • bstrSiteResourceName
    Type: System..::.String
    The name of the resource configuration object to be added to the site.
  • bstrGroupResourceName
    Type: System..::.String
    The name of the global resource configuration object to which a reference is being added.

Remarks

If you use this method to create a global resource, use the SiteConfigReadOnlyFreeThreaded object methods to ensure that the correct property values are read. To set the correct property values, use the GlobalConfigFreeThreaded object on the global resource that is referenced by this site-level resource.

The Initialize method must be called before this method can be used.
