How to Add a Schedule to a Business Data Project

For the latest version of Commerce Server 2007 Help, see the Microsoft Web site.

This topic provides steps to add a schedule to a business data project in Commerce Server staging. You add a schedule to include another deployment cycle for the business data project. For example, if you created a staging project to deploy updates a single time—at a specific time on a certain day, you can add a schedule to deploy the updates at another time or on a recurring basis.

To add a schedule to a business data project

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and the click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In Microsoft Management Console (MMC), in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Staging, expand <server name>, and then click Projects.

  3. In the right pane, right-click the project that you want to add a schedule to, and then click Properties.

  4. In the Project Properties dialog box, on the Schedule tab, click Add.

  5. In the New Schedule dialog box, click Once to stage the project a single time, specify the Start time, Month, Day, and Year for staging the project, and then click OK.

If you want to stage the project on a recurring basis, click Weekly on, select the day(s) on which you want to stage the project, and then click OK.

  6. In the Project Properties dialog box, click OK.
