SDK Items and Tools

The Commerce Server 2007 Software Development Kit (SDK) provides two types of items that help with the development and deployment of Commerce Server Web sites. These items are as follows:
SDK Tools. Tools to help you with the management or deployment of Commerce Server that fall outside the ordinary administration tools such as Commerce Server manager, Site Packager, and other features.
SDK Items. Development samples for use to help you in developing sites.
Accessing SDK Items
Commerce Server SDK code samples, sample applications, and tools that are provided with the Commerce Server SDK are not localized (provided in English only) and are accessed in one of three ways:
Included with Commerce Server 2007. You can find these items in the \Tools\ or \SDK\ directories in Commerce Server.
Microsoft.com download. These items are available as a separate packaged download.
Community. These items are available through the Commerce Server community on MSDN or GotDotNet. Community samples are not supported. For more information, see the Microsoft Commerce Server Community Web site at https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=66714.
