Parameters

The name of the entity that caused the exception.
- entityType
Type: System..::.String
The type of entity that caused the exception.
- inner
Type: System..::.Exception
The exception that is the cause of the current exception, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if no inner exception is specified.
Remarks
If the inner parameter is not a nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) reference, the current exception is raised in a catch block that handles the inner exception.
The exception that is thrown when attempting to modify or delete a built-in object.
All catalog exceptions, including the BuiltInEntityException are derived from the CatalogException class. If an attempt to modify or delete a built-in object the BuiltInEntityException is thrown.
