How to Refresh the Project List

For the latest version of Commerce Server 2007 Help, see the Microsoft Web site.

Use the Commerce Server Staging (CSS) Microsoft Management Console (MMC), Action menu Refresh command to refresh the project list for a server.

Note

You must set CSS credentials on each server where you want to refresh the project list. These credentials must have CSS administrator or operator rights on that server.

You may have to update a server's project list to display those projects that were created recently. If a project that you have newly created does not display in the CSS MMC, update the project list by using the Refresh command.

To refresh the project list

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In the Commerce Server Staging console, in the left navigation pane, expand Commerce Server Staging.

  3. In the left navigation pane, click the server from which you want to delete the project. The Connection Settings for Host <Server Name> dialog box appears. Type the User Name and Password for a user who is defined on the server that has CSS administrator or operator rights.

  4. Expand the server, and then click Projects.

  5. Click the Action menu and select Refresh. The project that was newly created should now be listed in the right pane.

  6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each server whose project list must be refreshed.
