Gets or sets the type of the credit card.

Property Value
Type: System..::.String
The type of the credit card. Default is an empty string.
Exceptions

| ArgumentException | The length of the string being set is greater than the maximum allowable length specified in the orders storage mapping file. |
Remarks
Type of credit card used for the order. The string value is trimmed of leading and trailing white space characters prior to being set.
The default maximum length for CardType is 40 characters, as defined in the corresponding table column constraint specified in the default orders storage mapping file, OrderObjectMappings.xml.Validate Credit card pipeline component expects these values to be the name of the credit card type.
