Power Automate Portal Version 2106.2

This article describes the updates, including the new features, and the fixes to existing functionality, which are included in this update.

The following list details issues in Power Automate that are now resolved or updated.

Functional Change
The licenses of the workflow entity's owning user will determine how to throttle the flow. This will occur if the owner is a single system user. The creator of the flow (current behavior) will be used if the owning entity is a team or buisness unit.

Example scenario:

  • User A (free licenses) creates a flow – The flow is set to Low throttling mode as the creator does not have a paid licenses.
  • The workflow entity owner is assigned as User B (Paid license) – The action of assigning, automatically updates the flow to Medium throttling mode. This will happen whether the owner updates via API or UX.
  • User B or A edits the flow – The flow still uses the owning entitiy's license (User B).
