Real Fantasy Football

When I was in college I played a board game from Warhammer called Blood Bowl, a turn-based strategy game where you created teams of goblins, orcs, elves, and other nasty critters to take to the gridiron for a violent free-for-all that bears a slight resemblance to actual football. Kind of like a medieval version of the XFL, in other words.

So, when I heard that Cyanide Studio and Games Workshop are working on Blood Bowl for Xbox 360 for a 2009 release, it immediately caught my interest. If you want to know more, check out the screenshots, trailers, and developer interviews at the new Blood Bowl website. Can't wait for this one!
