Dead Re-Rising
Capcom had an exciting announcement on Xbox LIVE today: A video announcing a sequel to a fan-favorite game. I won't spoil the surprise if you haven't seen it; as this was posted, it was the number one item in the Spotlight.
That's not all that's coming from Capcom, though. In exciting and creepy news, recently Capcom confirmed that Dead Rising 2 is in development. This sequel to the zombie-killing classic takes you out of the mall and into the gambling paradise of Fortune City, where the developer promises you'll face tens of thousands of zombies.
The original Dead Rising was released way back in 2006, and given how many folks have purchased Xbox 360s between then and now, I imagine many of you haven't played the first game. The good news is that the game's now a Platinum Hit, so you can pick it up for a mere $29.99. Even though it's a "classic," it still ranks as one of the most entertaining, original, and, yes, funny games for the Xbox 360. As long as you have an HDTV (text is a bit small for standard-def sets) and an appreciate for the over-the-top zombie-killing, I highly recommend you seek out a copy if you haven't yet played it.

Dead Rising was the reason why I got an Xbox 360 back in the day. http://www.8bitjoystick.com/2006/10/review-dead-rising-for-xbox-360.htmlAnonymous

I still need to play through it again and get the psychopaths that I missed the first couple times and get the true ending to Dead Rising. I need to review the Wii port and going back to the Xbox 360 games should be quite a treat. Also I am PRO the saving system in Dead Rising and the time constraints. I thought it made the game harder and increased tension. Darn modern games can't handle a few tough games.Anonymous

Well they are coming out with the nerfed Wii version of the game with no time requirements and 70% less zombies. I mean once you know what the layout of the mall there is no giant distance from a bathroom at any point
