Classic Gaming: Rebooted

It seems like one of the newer trends in gaming lately is the rebooting of older classic games. I for one welcome this. When I'm not spending time shooting zombies with Sheva in Resident Evil 5 or Crashing Castles, for the sake of nostalgia I'll boot up my old Commodore 64 for some 8bit pixilated gaming.

However now with more and more classic game reboots, I may be able to shelve my C64 for good. Last year we saw the release of Bionic Commando: Rearmed and Mega Man 9 and now we have Outrun.

Tomorrow we will finally see the release of Lode Runner.

The new Lode Runner will be boasting a new 3D engine, 220 levels, local and LIVE multiplayer modes and a full featured level editor where you can create your own levels. What more could you ask for? It's classic gaming rebooted at it's finest!

I'm going to want to see come cool levels from you guys and I look forward to stealing your gold :)
