Did you know that Windows 7 includes an application programming interface called UI Automation (UIA)? This new accessibility framework for the Windows® operating system improves the way the operating system and Windows applications expose information to assistive technologies. UIA was released via the Community Promise to allow anyone to incorporate it into their solutions, making this a fully interoperable interface compatible with platforms other than Windows.
