I've got a strange problem with ActiveSync and my Samsung i600 Smartphone 2002 device. I'm running the latest build 3.7.1 (4034) and since installing it, I can no longer control my server based ActiveSync settings from the ActiveSync UI. Previously, I could select what I wanted sync from the server (mail, contacts, schedule) and then set specfic options for each (size of message to pull, number of days of schedule, etc.) Interestingly, I can still set all that on the i600 and it works just fine, but it is really inconvenient to do it that way. Any ideas as to why these settings have mysteriously disappeared from the ActiveSync UI? Were these features removed intentionally?

On connecting the USB to the host Device is detected and in Device Manager it shows “Microsoft USB Sync” type device. The DefaultClientDriver in Register for above case is “Serial_Class”. When we change the DefaultClientDriver to “USBSER_Class”, after connecting with host it shows “Generic Serial” under the other devices in Device manager. Actually I want to connect device (WM 6.0) with windows XP through Active sync I don’t know which Register Entry I required out of (Serial_Class / USBSER_Class). I tried to connect with active sync 4.5 with both registry settings but it did not detect any device. Please guide me where I am missing or wrong. The registry setting which we are using is giving at the end of mail.
