IDC: Worldwide Disk Storage Capacity Grows 33 Percent in 2009

The amount of disk storage capacity shipped worldwide grew 33.4 percent in 2009, with more than 3.3 petabytes worth of capacity sold during the fourth quarter alone, according to a report released today by IDC.
