Como está a utilização do VSTS pela própria Microsoft? (April 2009)

Mensalmente acompanhamos a utilização do VSTS dentro da Microsoft. Diversos times de desenvolvimento, entre eles a própria equipe do Visual Studio, estão tirando proveito da solução de ALM da Microsoft.

A maior instância do TFS é a do time do próprio Visual Studio com:

  • +3,5k usuários
  • +640k work itens
  • +22M arquivos no source control
  • +1,8k builds mensais

…. tudo isso em um único servidor.

April 2009 - VSTS Internal Service Offering Summary:

For the entire Service Offering over the trailing 12 months, on average there have been 2.25 million version control files added each month.  In the same span, nearly 140,000 work items have been created per month, 36,000 builds per month, and 123 new team projects per month.  April 2009 was another month of consistent growth across the Service Offering.
