Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2, will not work with Version 3.7 or 3.8 of Active Sync. We are in the process of making a later version available shortly and as soon as the download sites has it, I will update this page from where you can download it.

We are looking at second week of may to have a developer preview pack for Active Sync 4.0 that will fix this issue.

    So I was scanning through my RSS Aggregator Omea Reader and I saw this and this blog entries. The first is a notification that ActiveSync 3.7 or 3.8 do not work with Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 even though 3.8 is the most recent version of ActiveSync. makes for a hard time deploying and testing mobile solutions from Visual Studio...
