New session abstract for PDC (by yag)
Paul blogs about how he has changed the abstract for one of his talks to make it more enticing.
Visual Basic 9.0 will offer radical improvements in its ability to work with data in all its forms: as objects, as XML, as relational data. Join the language architects for a detailed discussion of features such as query comprehensions, object initializers and anonymous types that enable querying data in a more flexible, natural way than ever before. Also, get a glimpse into the future of dynamic programming in VB with coverage of new features intended to radically simplify working with dynamically typed data on the .NET platform.
You can find all the sessions here. I'm incredibly excited about what we'll be showing in all the sessions - we have 5 (possibly a sixth) on the data/language integration when you include the C# and VB language futures (which will include a lot on this). We've been working on this for a few years now - and I can't wait to head to LA and see people's reaction... I had a demo of some of the latest work this week - and even knowing what we had planned, I have to admit my jaw dropped seeing it live...

Hey, YAG...
I'll be at the PDC. Hope to see you. I'm very interested in sessions on data handling in VB and C#.
