New SQL Master from the SQL Connectivity ADO.NET team
Another SQL MCM introduction today:
- Bruno Guardia, Senior Software Design Engineering in Test, SQL Connectivity ADO.Net team, Microsoft. Bruno has 25 years in the IT industry, most of them in his native Mexico involving diverse areas of training, technical support and development. The first 20 years involved both teaching with consulting. He holds a Bachelor on Engineering (Computer Systems) and a Master of Computer Science, both from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM); with multiple certifications both on the infrastructure and development sides. He taught for 20 years, including work as a part time professor at ITESM Campus Ciudad de Mexico for more than 11 years, teaching courses like Assembly Language Programming, Microsoft Certification courses and Advanced Internet Application Development. Among his consulting work he has worked at multiple small companies, working with UNIX and networking, then client-server and later Web development for multiple customers in the Mexican and Latin America markets. He then joined Microsoft and moved to the Seattle area to work on testing SQL Server client stack performance over the last 3 and a half years, helping to ship SQL Server 2008 and 2008 R2, Visual Studio 2008 and 2010 (with the .Net Framework 3.5/3.5SP1/4.0), and Windows 7, among other releases.
We’re proud to have another Dev team member in our SQL MCM community. Congratulations and Welcome Bruno!
