Microsoft Architect with a PhD in Computer Science and now SQL Server 2008 MCM
We have another very accomplished new SQL Server 2008 Microsoft Certified Master to announce today. Meet Yasser Abdel Kader:
Yasser Abdel Kader, Microsoft MEA HQ Architect, Microsoft. Yasser is a Regional Development Architect in the Microsoft Middle East and Africa HQ Team based in Cairo. He has 16 years of experience in the software and information technology industry. Yasser has a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sheffield, UK in Semi-Structure Database Storage and Query Optimization, a MSc in Engineering Management and a BSc in Computer Engineering (with Honors). He has worked with SQL Server since version 7.0, starting as a database developer and moving to database architecture in large and complex projects in the EMEA region. During his career he also worked as a visual DB Designer in a marine simulator (which he says was quite different than working with relational databases and SQL Server). Congratulations Yasser and welcome to the community!
