About Silverlight 2.0 Hands on Labs
As regular blog readers know, we are hosting a series of Silverlight 2.0 proctored hands-on-labs in SoCal in January 2009. Here is some information about these labs and this event. There are 3 labs in a folder named Silverlight 2.0 HOLs on the desktop of the virtual machine. Ask a proctor to start the VM for you. Log in to the VM with Pa$$w0rd (right alt key + del key).
1) Fundamentals - Lab 1 is for developers new to Silverlight. All exercises are done from scratch.
2) Browser Integration - Lab 2 and 3 are for developers who already have the Silverlight basics. They can be done in one of two ways – either from scratch (directions are given from an overview only), or by examining completed solutions.
3) Connected Applications
Expect to complete only 1 or 2 of the labs in the 3 hour session. The labs were written by the Silverlight product team and list the key steps, but occasionally skip a step (assumed knowledge). Proctors are here to fill in the gaps – feel free to ask questions. You can use your time in whatever suits you best. Labs can be done in any order. We are here to answer your questions. The lab room will be open until 9pm. Feel free to copy lab files to USB. VPCs can NOT be copied because they contain activated product. To setup the labs, you’ll need the following:

Download Lab files https://cid-0c65ff34c37c0b08.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Silverlight%20HOL%202.0 Rename the file from *.abc to *.zip and unzip.
