A Weekend with Startup Weekend at Microsoft Silicon Valley

The Microsoft BizSpark team hosted Startup Weekend, a global network of passionate leaders and entrepreneurs on a mission to inspire, educate and empower individuals, teams and communities. During the weekend of September 9-11, Microsoft’s Mountain View Campus hosted about 50 teams who came together to ideate, collaborate and generate some terrific ideas.  They were organized into three tracks, Gaming, Healthcare and Education, and progressed from concept all the way through to pitch, business case and demo in the course of the weekend.  The winners, along with a 90-second video of their experience at Microsoft Silicon Valley, will be introduced at the DEMO Conference in Santa Clara.
