Just a fortnight after CheckPoint acquired OAT Systems, we hear the news of Impinj acquiring Intel's RFID unit. Impinj says that it is positioning as the one-stop shop for UHF RFID technology. These are very interesting times in the RFID industry so watchout for more exciting news!
