Microsoft Lync Server 2013, Planning Tool

I was recently working with one of our customers on Lync 2013 project and one of the questions customer asked about the planning tool if it is part of Lync 2013 setup where we have other tools like Lync 2013 deployment tool or topology builder and I guided the customer about the planning tool.

The Lync 2013 planning tool is a separate download and it asks you a series of questions about your organization and the features that you are interested in. The planning tool will then use your answers to recommend a topology based on the tested Microsoft Lync Server 2013 user model.

Your organization may have a different user model. If so, you should adjust the recommended topology as necessary to fit your organization’s needs.

You can find more details and download the tool from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36823

    Dear Omer,

Just an observation - the download button is missing these days from for the Lync 2013 Planning tool from the Microsoft Download site.

Please advice if you can do something or can share through another medium...

    Kind Regards,
