New Category under "SDK Components" Family - CAPICOM
Folks... a new category has arrived:
CAPICOM is an ActiveX control, Scriptable interface, and COM object re-distributed by Microsoft, 3rd party applications and web sites. More information about the functionality offered through CAPICOM is available on MSDN in the whitepaper Introducing CAPICOM. As CAPICOM can be redistributed by 3rd party applications and websites, there is no comprehensive list of applications containing CAPICOM. This CAPICOM category will be used to offer security updates. The CAPICOM category is offered to all platforms on which CAPICOM has been registered. Security updates can be released through this category periodically, but are not expected to be frequent.
