Now Shipping: PDC05 Post-Show DVD Set
If you attended PDC05 in Los Angeles earlier this year, you'll be happy to know that the 4-disc post-show DVD set is shipping out today. As I've mentioned in prior posts, this package will automatically be sent to attendees at no additional cost. If you weren't able to attend, you can still order your own set online. The DVDs contain 209 breakout sessions, panels, and symposia in addition to Channel 9 video content that was produced for the event. So, watch your mailbox closely for a black mailer (pictured) over the next week or so.
To view the sessions online or download them for offline viewing, you can do that here. We've committed to hosting the content for free, for anyone, for six full months.
If you have suggestions about how we can improve the online and/or DVD experience next time, or if you think we did something right this time, please leave a comment. We produce these kits for you, and your feedback is very important.

The posted content has been great. There were so many sessions I could not attend due to conflicts. The one thing I have missed on viewing the sessions is the abilty to navigate more directly. It would be nice next time to support scrubbing using a media player scroll control, or at least FF and RW controls along with back/forward buttons that jump 5 minutes or so. There have been times where I wanted to get back to the middle of a demo or backup to repeat a part of a session and the current topic bookmarks can be too far apart. But, the current presenation is very functional for seeing sessions that were missed. Next time I can miss more sesions without worry and spend more time in the lounges and networking with others. - Anonymous

499$ USD (+ VAT). Yeah!!!
I think there must be a type. 49.9$ USD sounds more like the right price.
And even that, that would be for someone who does not know the sessions are available online. - Anonymous

anon: rather than re-addressing the details here, I'd recommend reading through this post on Channel 9: http://channel9.msdn.com/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=136051 - Anonymous

Pierrot: The post-show DVDs contain only the presentations; there are no installable bits included in the package. - Anonymous

Thanks for the answer. I was considering buying the DVDs. How can I get hold of the Installable bits, most importantly for me (office 12). I've tried everything I know of. Do you have any idea? thanks, vm.
