WPC10 – Connecting with people to build business!

On Monday night, as we kicked off #WPC10 from here in Washington, D.C., I put up the Connecting with others – A HUGE value of #WPC10 (Look who I found) post here on my blog with pictures of some of the attendees I had a chance to connect with during the opening celebration. Since that time, thousands of meetings have taken place all across #WPC10, some between people who already know each other and are re-connecting, and some that are brand new connections with people who had never met before #WPC10.

Now here we are on Thursday night, as we bring #WPC10 to a close and I thought I would share some pictures from tonight’s partner closing celebration as well, showing just a small sample of some of the wonderful #WPC10 attendees I had the opportunity to connect with tonight.

- Brenda Luper (@bluper2) - Angus Fox (@nuxnix) – Another one of the partners I met through social media and got to meet in person for the first time at #wpc10!

In addition, if you read through my Join us for the #WPC10 TweetUp + Webcast: 5 Effective Ways Social Media Can Drive Business Value post from this week, you’ll see how the power of social media made it possible to meet several more partners and work together for a webcast that was broadcast live worldwide (thanks @meetdux!) to discuss how social media can be used by businesses.

Thanks again to the nearly 10,000 partners from around the world that made the trip in for #WPC10 to share time, thoughts, ideas, and hear from Microsoft about our directions, plans, solutions, etc. for the upcoming year! This is always my favorite conference because of the opportunity to meet so many partners and learn about your businesses. I look forward to working with you all over this upcoming year and seeing you online through the many social media aspects in addition to the in person opportunities we have.
