Software licenses benefit for Certified and Gold Certified Partners
Being a part of the Microsoft Partner Program provides many benefits to your organization. Making sure you are utilizing these benefits is an important step to ensure you are getting the most out of your Microsoft Partner Program membership. One of these benefits as a Certified or Gold Certified Partner in the Microsoft Partner Program is the access to software licenses that you can use in varying ways. The types of licenses you receive are:
- Internal use licenses: licenses you can use to run your businesses and for internal employee training only.
- Development and Testing Use license: licenses you can use to run your businesses and for internal employee training only.
- Demonstration-Use Licenses: licenses you can use for demonstration purposes only. Your sales and marketing employees can use this software to showcase the product to your customers. You may not leave the product with the customer after the demonstration has been completed.
- Training-Use Licenses: licenses you can use for employee training purposes only.
For all of these types of licenses you receive, these licenses must not be resold, used for personal purposes, or used for customer training. Licenses are provided for the latest released versions of Microsoft software only.
To see which products you receive licenses for and how many licenses of each you are eligible for, you can access the table of software benefits we have on the Microsoft Partner Portal.
Thank you and have a wonderful day,
