Microsoft Partner Network Interactive Leadership Forum replay now online
Last Thursday, hundreds of partners from around the world, including attendees from: Asia Pacific, India, Germany, United Kingdom, Central & Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Middle East, Latin America, France, United States, & Canada to name a few, joined the Worldwide Partner Group Leadership Team for our Interactive Leadership Forum. We also had a really good mix of job roles within the partners join us for the session, with a great showing from the management roles within the partners (% based on attendees submitting answer to poll question). Take a look:
As mentioned in my Join us for a Microsoft Partner Network Interactive Leadership Forum post, the format of the session was first addressing a number of topics, questions, concerns, misconceptions and more that we have heard from partners around the world regarding the Microsoft Partner Network and then holding an open forum Q&A session where we could address questions submitted throughout the presentation and those asked live by attendees who wanted to ask a live verbal question.
To kick the session off, Jon Roskill provided his overarching viewpoint of the channel and the opportunity and role of the Microsoft Partner Network in that for partners, followed by Julie Bennani giving an overview of the Microsoft Partner Network design principles and goals. Then throughout the session, I asked partner questions of Jon Roskill, Julie Bennani, Ross Brown, and Karl Noakes, each of whom addressed questions from the initial portion of the agenda as well as those that partners asked during the forum.
Here is an excerpt from the session, which includes Jon Roskill’s opening comments regarding partners and the Microsoft Partner Network:
It was fantastic to see the level of participation by the attendees in submitting questions during the session, and unfortunately, we did not have enough time to address all of the questions we received. The questions you asked that we did not have time to address have not been forgotten and we have collected them all. Keep an eye on my blog as I will be sharing:
- How and where we will be providing answers to the questions we did not have time to get to
- Additional snippets from the March 10th session
- How you can participate in future Interactive Leadership Forums, based on the overwhelming feedback from the attendees of their desire to have more sessions like this. What does “overwhelming” mean? Well, 100% of the attendees who voted on if we should conduct these again said, “Yes,” with only differing feedback as to how often. Take a look:

Thank you again to all of the partners around the world that joined us for this session live on the 10th and for all of the great input, feedback, and questions you submitted. We look forward to connecting with you more in future sessions like this. Also, here’s another question for all of you based on some input I received from an attendee last Thursday:
Would you be interested in having a session similar to this at Worldwide Partner Conference this year? I’d love your feedback on this, so please feel free to leave me your comments below or send them to me through my online feedback form.
