Microsoft Partner Info V2.7 brings pinning, support, more perspectives, a new look, and more
Today the new 2.7 version of the Microsoft Partner Info Mobile App released to the Microsoft Windows Phone Marketplace and brings with it a collection of new additions to the Microsoft Partner Info Mobile App. First, let me offer my thanks to all of you that have been submitting your input and feedback to me about the Microsoft Partner Info app regarding what you liked, additions you would like to see, and additional feeds you would like to see included. I believe you will see several of these incorporated into this new release and I hope you enjoy them.
Let’s take a quick look at some of the new features that the new 2.7 version of the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app brings with it:
Partner Perspectives – One of the features that partners have told me they really like about the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app is the Partner Perspectives section that pulls in recent contributions from partners around the world. One suggestion they made for an improvement would be to include more Partner Perspective updates in the app itself. Ok, you now have 25! Here’s a quick overview of the expanded Partner Perspectives section of the Microsoft Partner Info Mobile App: |
Pinning Feeds and Groups – In the new 2.7 version of the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app, you now have the ability to pin your favorite feeds and groups to the start page of your Windows Phone. Here’s a quick overview of this new feature: |
Support – For the 2.7 version of the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app, there is an entirely new section added in that incorporates email and phone contact information for the Microsoft Regional Service Centers. Not only is the information included, you have click to dial, email, and add to contacts for each. Below is a quick overview of the new Support section: |
Partner Talk – In the 2.7 version update of the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app, the Partner Talk section has been expanded to include additional feeds and utilizes a new interface to allow an easier way to follow the chats in real-time and interact through your Twitter account if you choose to. Here is a quick look at the new Partner Talk section in action: |
Feedback & Reviews – As in the previous versions of the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app, enabling feedback and input from the users of the app is very important for me. In the 2.7 version of the app, you can continue to provide your input and feedback through the app itself in the Feedback section as well as having the ability to Rate and Review the app to share your opinions with others in the Microsoft Windows Phone Marketplace. Here is a quick overview of how you can provide your direct input and feedback through the 2.7 version of the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app: |
In addition to the updates and additions included above, as with previous updates to the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app, several new feeds have been added into this new version as well, bringing even more information into the app itself for all of you. As always, I would love to hear your input and feedback about this new release of the Microsoft Partner Info mobile app and your experience with it.
