Just over 2 weeks left to take advantage of Microsoft 50%* off N-2 promotion
Are you looking to take advantage of the Microsoft 50%* off N-2 promotion? If so, you had better hurry up and get your order in! Why? Simple, because as announced in my Microsoft 50%* off N-2 promotion continued through end of 2010 post, the N-2 promotion is going to expire at the end of 2010, which is just around the corner (as hard as that is to believe). What this means is that once the N-2 promotion ends, only the N-1 versions (versions one version older than most current) will qualify for the 50%* promotion when moving to the Microsoft Open Value Subscription program.
To put this into hard terms, here is how the qualifying versions list is about to change:
Question: What are the N-2 products that qualify?
- Answer: If you own any of these products, you qualify for this promotion:
- Office Professional Plus Edition 2010
- Office Professional Edition 2010
- Office Enterprise Edition 2007
- Office Professional Plus Edition 2007
- Office Ultimate Edition 2007
- Office 2007 Professional Edition
Office 2003 Professional Edition- Office Small Business Edition 2007 (or Professional edition)
Office 2003 Small Business Edition (or Professional edition)- Office Standard 2007
Office Standard 2003- Windows 7 Professional
- Windows Vista Business
Windows XP Professional
So if you own any licenses of the crossed out versions above, you have just a couple more weeks to get the 50%* discount credit for these. After that, they will no longer qualify for this discount. Be sure to check out my How the Microsoft 50%* Up-to-date discount works and other answers for more information on how this promotion works and how your older versions can get you the discounts.

no matter how many times i read about licenses and subscriptions, i have no idea how anything works. so, i don't even bother trying to sell anything.
