Breaking News: 15% discount offer on Action Pack Development & Design Extended!

imageHere’s some good news that’s hot off the presses! You may recall the 15% off Microsoft Action Pack Development and Design Subscription offer post that I put up here on the Blog back at the end of March, announcing the opportunity for Partner to pre-register for the new Microsoft Action Pack Design & Development subscription in order to get a promotion code via email to get 15% off their new subscription. Then last week, I put up “The new Microsoft Action Pack subscriptions are here!” post announcing the new Action Pack subscription offerings had now been released. Needless to say, there has been quite a bit of interest in the new Action Pack Design & Development subscription and the 15% discount offer (that you needed to sign up for by May 23rd in order to participate).

Well, I am very happy to let you know that we have extended the pre-order timeline to allow you to sign up to get your 15% off promotional code until June 20th! A few points to note though:

  1. You need to fill out the online offer request form to let us know about your interest in this new subscription offering
  2. During the week of June 21st, you will receive an e-mail with instructions and a single-use promotion code that you can use to receive 15% off the price of a one-year subscription (NOTE: I said “during the week of June 21st”, not necessarily ON June 21st)
  3. The promotion code will expire on August 1st, so you need to complete your Microsoft Action Pack Design & Development order with the promotion code by July 31st
  4. If you miss the July 31st order deadline with the promotion code, you are out of luck

Now there are some of you that have emailed me, submitted comments to the Blog, etc. that said something along the lines of, “I read your post about the 15% promo code but got tied up in the day to day items of running my business and completely forgot to pre-register until I saw your announcement post saying the new Action Pack subscription is available. Please, please, please is there a way to still get the offer?” (Sound familiar, anyone???) What I want you to take from that is, DO NOT put off signing up for your promotion code if you truly are interested, because sure enough, something will come up and you will forget. Please go to the online offer request form RIGHT NOW to let us know about your interest in this new subscription offering in order to get your promotion code to use! Then it is up to you to make sure you place your order before the July 30, 2010 deadline; otherwise, you will miss this offer.

So, what are you still doing here reading??? I meant it when I said, “go to the online offer request form RIGHT NOW.” So go! :-)

This discount offer is *****.  I submitted a request back in March and didn't get the code on May 24 as promised.  I ordered the new action pack anyway, and then a week later I get my promotion code.  Utterly pointless.

@Jeff - Thanks for your comment.  As noted on the original discount offer, the promotion codes were sent out within a week of the launch of the new Action Pack subscriptions, which was the 24th.  I'm sorry if you misunderstood the "within a week of" to mean "on" the 24th.  If you contact the RSC (http://bit.ly/c7u2Wg) with your promo code, they can help you out.
