Bing + fast search launched on MPN Portal to make finding information easier for Partners
One of the pieces of feedback that we hear from Partners from time to time is, “Microsoft, if’s great that you have a million resources for us Partners; however, it can be really hard to find what we’re looking for on the Microsoft Partner Portal.” Well, we’ve heard your feedback and have recently upgraded the search capabilities across the Microsoft Partner Network Portal using Bing + FAST search capabilities. Plus, not only have we upgraded the search capabilities, you can now run a single search and have results returned to you from across the MPN Portal, Microsoft Partner Learning Center, MSDN, and TechNet. Also, if you want to expand it beyond just these sites, you can also expand to all Microsoft sites. Let’s take a look…
You can find the search tool located at the upper-right corner of the MPN Portal:

When you enter in your search terms for what you are looking for, the results page will come back with your results displayed in groups, with Partner Network Portal as the top group and Partner Learning Center below that. To the left, you can apply additional filtering of the results through “navigators” by selecting specifically which location you want to sort filters by as well.

We hope this new search capability will help you find the information you are looking for quicker and more efficiently. Give the new MPN search tool a try and let us know what you think.
