RoboBusiness Conference and Exposition

Once more again Microsoft participated in the RoboBusiness Conference and Exposition as a gold sponsor. RoboBusiness Conference and Exposition is a key industry event dedicated to the growth and development of the robotics and intelligent systems. The conference focuses on business as well as technical aspects of commercial application of mobile robotics and intelligent systems technologies. This event promotes community and relationship building by bringing together key industry participants to facilitate the development of new markets, product categories, and to enhance existing products.

You may recall that we announced our first Community Technical Preview (CTP) one year ago at this conference. Since the initial announcement we’ve done a tremendous amount of work and were delighted to report the process to the community as well as help announce the release of a couple of mobile platforms developed by our partners.

These platforms are Robosoft’s roboLab10 and Coroware’s CoroBot. Both platforms were on display at Tandy Trower’s breakfast Keynote. In addition, at the breakfast keynote we showcased one of our research collaborations using Microsoft Robotics Studio with the MIT Media lab’s Huggable project
