Harnessing the power of big data with cloud predictive analytics: Introducing Azure Machine Learning

 

Several weeks ago we pre-announced the public preview for Azure ML which we have been showing to customers for several months under nondisclosure as Project Passau. This new Azure-based tool helps organizations do machine learning and predictive analysis all from a Web console. Azure ML provides the ability to collaboratively build machine learning models faster and easier than you can do with traditional tools.

With this announcement, we can now go full speed on predictive analytics, condition based maintenance, rate plan effectiveness, asset health, trading and other advanced analytics scenarios in Utilities. But its not just Utilities, just about any industry has the need for machine learning and predictive analytics solutions to keep their operations running smoothly and without interruption.
