I am here, hear me Roar.

So, I joined the ranks of Microsoft and I'm into Day 3.

I've been blessed with a lot of free gadgets, all the Microsoft software I can get my hands on (including some XBOX goodness) and most important of all, new start support.

I belong to the infamous Frank Arrigo team, and my role in the Microsoft ranks is to spread the gospel centred around WPF, WPF/E, Expression Suite, Gadgets (SideBar, Slideshow and Live) and anything really relevant to the Web 2.0 / RIA movement.

I'm currently working on a SideBar Gadget to road test the capabilities and illustrate its power and will blog more on its end result as I can.

So, I hope all enjoy my rants and please leave any feedback, any time.

Grats on the new job. If you think you might be able to work in a few posts on what it's like to be a new guy working at MS, particularly in Australia, I'll be sure to stick around. I'm a fan of the frankarr blog, sounds like he'll be great to work with.

Congratulations on your new position. I suppose you have been lined up for a presentation at all the QLD user group meetings already.

Congratulations! I look forward to reading more about WPF(/E) and SideBars. Is this blog supposed to appear as part of the MSDN Australia News blogfeed (on the page http://www.microsoft.com/australia/msdn/)?  Or don't they trust you enough yet? ;-)
