First 90 Days of Vista
Ive been watching a bit of the press flying around including an article that our very own Jeff Jones did which talks about the first 90 days of Vista's release and how it compares not only to our previous versions of Windows but also Mac OS X and Linux distros.
In all I found it to be a reasonable analysis - free of the somewhat over zealous fervour that seems to grip most of these types of analysis. I was particularly interested in his analysis of Linux as the usual thing that happens is that people install Linux along with all the options and then compare vulnerabilities against Windows on the total install. Somewhat an unfair comparison! This one is different though. It looks at a fairer comparison and while we're not perfect (just like others for that matter) and still do have some work to do - does show that we're on the right path
