Discussion Theme:

Senior IT Management View of the Future

Speakers:

Mr. Paul Oliver, Just Born Company

Mr. Joseph Schulter, PPL Corporation

A collection of senior IT managers from local companies will discuss the key issues that will affect Information Technology Departments in the coming year and the initiatives that must be undertaken to address these issues. A brief outline is the following:

  • High-level review of top initiatives for 2006 and why (business tie-in, opportunity, problem or compliance issue)
  • What technologies and technical skill sets will be used on these initiatives
  • Q&A from the audience or the panelist themselves

Time will be reserved for the audience to suggest additional issues and initiatives. If time permits, the panel and the audience can discuss with each other and the audience their views of the trends in the Information Technology industry.

Refreshments:  Dinner at DeSales University Center dining facility. We will dine in a part of their cafeteria and we will select and pay for our own dinners.

5:30-6:30 -- Time to gather & networking

6:30-7:30 -- Invitation to Dinner and individual discussions

7:15 -- Formal Meeting:

· Greeting from the Lehigh Valley Chepter

· Introduction of Key DeSalses University Hosts

· DeSales Student Chapter update(Ernie Justice)

· Break for personal clean up.

7:30-8:30 – Meeting Presentation – See above

8:30 -- Adjournment & Networking
