For months now I’ve been asked by students if Office 2010 (pronounced “twenty-ten”) will be available via the Ultimate Steal for $59.95 like Office 2007 was.  The good news is YES! In fact, students who buy Office 2007 today can download Office 2010 for free when it is available for download.  The Office products included in the Office “Ultimate Steal” is truly amazing:

  • Word
  • Excel
  • PowerPoint
  • Outlook
  • OneNote
  • SharePoint Workspaces (used to be called Groove)
  • Access
  • Publisher
  • InfoPath

There also significant discounts for Windows 7 & and Visio.  All you need is a valid .edu e-mail address.  If you have already downloaded Office 2007 using the Ultimate Steal earlier, you’ll be able to buy download it free if you downloaded it after March 5, 2010 via our Tech Guarantee.  The free Office 2010 tech guarantee ends September 1, 2010.  After that, Office 2007 purchasers will have to pay $59.59 for Office 2010.

Cheers!

Randy
