Application Knowledge Sheet
Collecting application data is crucial for any desktop deployment project. Beside the software inventory, there is other strategic information which needs to be analyzed for every application. This information can be summarized as follows:
- Departments used, business units,User info
- Application info, vendors, owners and contacts
- Packaging info and Testing info (technology, dependencies etc)
I mostly use this atached application knowledge sheet to gather this info from the application and business units.
