Whats new in SQLServer 2012 for SharePoint

With SQL Server 2012 now released this presentation will explore those new features of SQL 2012 that can be used with SharePoint. We'll look at new features and enhancements in Reporting Services, the Always On high availibility features, File Tables and PowerView the new end user reporting tool.

FAST Search for SharePoint

Information Overload is here, 640K was not enough. Knowledge workers now spend on average 9.5 hours per week searching for information. FAST is the Enterprise solution proposed by Microsoft. We’ll cover the basics of FS4SP and what differentiates it from SharePoint Search 2010. Also, take a quick overview on its architecture and how to extend it using custom pipelines.
