Spark @ Mix
Anne Thomas Manes, Dion Hinchcliffe and myself presented the output from Spark at Mix to a small but interested audience.
I spent most of the day pulling the materials together but did go to Bills keynote. A couple of interesting things that came up at the keynote which echoed conclusions from Spark were the way that the user is becoming the center of things again and the importance of content and in particular microformats.
The presentation itself went well, it covered what Spark was about, a quick look at the web 2.0 and SOA spaces, the environment and drivers work, the models and finally the inhibitors. There was a very interesting set of questions posed afterwards about such areas as the role of the architect, the ownership of attention information and the importance of relationships and trust with some discussion on those areas. My thanks to Ann and Dion for their support and assistance.
