New Media Center PCs from Sony and Alienware
I've spotted pictures of some new Media Center machines...
First from Sony, the new Vaio Desktop R Series
Looks like a very nice machine to me, although it's still looks like a PC.
Next, Alienware are back in the Media Center market with their DHS series of PCs, these look more like A/V components
It's good to see some new designs hitting the market.

The most important feature, IMHO, for the MCE would be ability to use SECONDARY monitor for video output while showing desktop and controlling UI on the primary display. Reason? I don't want to turn on my projector to use the computer and I don't want to see desktop on my large screen either. New receivers are getting 5" LCD displays so you can do all setup there while large screen shows either static picture or a trailer. - Anonymous

It seems the Sony has a faster processor, bigger hard drive, 2 dvd-players, and a better dvd recorder than the highest alienware dhs, and its substantially cheaper. Is there something about the dhs that i'm missing? Why is it more expensive?
