Gorgon by Peter D. Ward

I'm only about a quater of the way through and haven't gotten to the main subject area of the book - the 200 million or so years old creature called the Gorgon.  I've just been reading the history and background info, but it's caught my interest and I'll easily finish the book in a few days.

I bought it when Peter Ward and his colleague Don Brownlee visited the Microsoft campus a few weeks ago to talk about their work.  Sounded like an interesting topic so I bought a copy.  I've never read anything on paleontology before so it's all new to me.
