2016 BLOG Reset consistent posting

Hello,

I'm using the New Year (2016) to RESET my online presents to support the community. Marshall's Current focus as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) with Microsoft Azure and specifically with customers Azure Government.

My focus is going to support my personal goals to help others prep for and get the NEXT Cyber Security position. My BLOG Posting goals are to write more consistent with individual post that explain how Microsoft Networks are "Securely" enabled. I have a list of products and over the next few posts and plan to establish a "Security" focused roadmap. The short list includes products but also services, networking, frameworks and helpful processes & procedures:

  • Microsoft Azure (overview and deeper in some features)
  • ExpressRoute & Hyper-V Network Virtualization
  • Azure Virtual Networks and Network Security Groups
  • Azure Active Directory (AAD)
  • Microsoft Active Directory (AD) on-premises
  • Deep understanding of Windows Operating Systems (OS)
  • System Center Management Suite
  • Azure Operational Insight
  • Networking technologies including: Domain Name Systems (DNS), TCP/IP,
  • Knowledge of debugging and disassembly tools:
  • IdaPro (or HexRays)
  • OllyDbg
  • WinDbg (some work)
  • Assembly language for x86 & x64
  • Ability to perform static and dynamic analyses of suspect binaries without access to source or debug information.
  • Experience with reverse engineering binaries and exploit code
  • Use the Windows System Internals guidance to understand the Windows OS and Security
  • Kali Linux (Security Framework and "Level Set" on Cyber Security)

Provide excellence in hands-on guidance, strategic identity & network architecture and security to enable customers to transform business agility by migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure. My current role (Cloud Solution Architect) provides me customer facing, 100% accountable for end-to-end superior customer cloud deployment.
