Bootcamp 1.2 released
...just after I installed 1.1.2 on my Macbook Pro. Very annoying but good to see that it now supports Vista out of the box. The detail on what's new:
- Support for Windows Vista (32-bit)
- Updated drivers, including but not limited to trackpad, AppleTime (synch), audio, graphics, modem, iSight camera
- Support the Apple Remote (works with iTunes and Windows Media Player)
- A Windows system tray icon for easy access to Boot Camp information and actions
- Improved keyboard support for Korean, Chinese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Russian, and French Canadian
- Improved Windows driver installation experience
- Updated documentation and Boot Camp on-line help in Windows
- Apple Software Update (for Windows XP and Vista)
Now, not sure whether this requires a fresh install. More than likely it will mean downloading, burning the CD and updating things Vista side rather than on OSX.
Jon will be happy as he's been blogging about all the steps required to get things working.

It doesn't require a fresh install. Just a burn to CD and a reboot into windows to install the drivers using setup.exe If you can't run the boot camp assistant for some reason (to burn the CD) the CD driver disk image is installed the boot camp assistant.app package, which you can just burn using disk utility or something.Anonymous

Thanks Rosyna, that was the process I went through. Although I did upgrade Bootcamp OSX side which required a firmware update for the EFI boot manager. All ticking along nicely now :)Anonymous
