I am here New York !

I am here, I am here , I am here !  Hold up…. you are new to this blog as am I, and you are asking yourself who is this person??? Right? Well, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Maria Naggaga, and on October 1, 2012 I became the newest member of the Technical Evangelist Team on the East coast focusing on academia.  A little bit about myself I am Ugandan, love my family, running, yoga, and  most of all learning something new.  I graduated from Dalhousie University  in Canada with Bachelor Degree in  Informatics  with  Major in Health Informatics under the faculty of Computer Science in May 2012 (what a mouth full eh?). In the past I have been a Project Manager at Research In Motions LTD and an Enterprise Architect at Telus Communications.

2012 as turned out to be an exciting year for me. Not only did I get a job at Microsoft in NYC but, I have joined Microsoft at such an exciting time !  With the launch of Windows 8 and the Surface just around the corner, I can honestly say that I have never been so excited to be developing for a new platform.  The first couple of posts will document my learning experience, and I hope you will learn  along with me.

I  can wait to get to know the tech community in NY.
