Cool Tip of the Day 42: Consulting Before the Transfer

You
can consult with the person you want to take the transfer before the
transfer is made in Microsoft® Office Communications Server 2007 R2

Attendant by following these steps:

  1. Click the Consult icon.
  2. Click either the voice or IM icon. If the recipient agrees to take the transfer, click the Connect icon.

If the transfer is successful, NO visual indicator is displayed — the call simply disappears from your Conversation window.
