XML Cup

Every year, IDEAlliance awards the XML Cup to one or more people who have made a major contribution to XML.   I've seen Jean Paoli's and its quite an impressive award.

In a recent call for nominations I suggested Charles Goldfarb, Ed Mosher and Ray Lorie.   Without their pioneering work XML would simply not exist.   I'm shocked they haven't already been awarded the cup.

Past winners are James Clark (2001), Jon Bosak and Tim Bray (2002), Michael Sperberg-McQueen and Adam Bosworth (2003), Jean Paoli and Robin Cover (2004) and Michael Kay and Norman Walsh (2005).

Who do you think deserves the XML Cup for 2006?
