Photo stitching at Mix UK 07

I'm just prepping a demo for tomorrow and am going to include the new panoramic photo feature in Windows Live Photo Gallery which you can download as part of the Windows Live Pack which wraps up all the various Live apps and puts them in a convenient and easy to use installer.

With the new version of Live Photo Gallery they've updated lots of stuff including the import experience which is much nicer and more flexible in terms of selecting the photos you wish to import and it does some intelligent grouping so you can tag stuff much quicker - remember meta data is king :-)

Here are some photos I took in the speaker prep room at Mix UK 07 whilst hanging out with Danny Thorpe, Angus Logan, Beau Ambur et al. So from five photos with no real precision in terms of lining them up, I can press the Make Panoramic Photo and it stitches them all together...

Once I've created the panorama I can then share to the cloud using the Live ID sign-in and it will publish automatically to my Live Spaces account.
